The Beers like to party. Here’s our list of annual events that are staged roughly every two months.

Australia Day Carnival & Golf Day - January 23-26 2009
Every year on the Australia Day long weekend we call the Sunshine Coast home and play in the Maroochydore Basketball Tournament. We even won it a couple of times back when hardly anyone played. Golf on the Friday, Bball & Beers on the weekend.

The Brewskies - Beers Awards Night - March 2009
A new event on the calendar, The Beers annual awards dinner.

Beer of Origin - May 2009
Beer on Beer action, Locals versus Imports for the coveted MEGABOWL.

International Adventure - July/August 2009
In 2008 the Beers took the show to Phuket Thailand, but the locals were too scared to play us. In 2009 we’re hitting the slopes, courts & bars of Queenstown, New Zealand.

Techtoberfest - October 2009
Every October we count up the Beers Tally and drink the penalties.

Xmas Cricket Day - December 2008
The Beers Cristmas party and cricket match.
