The A4 division two season at Brisbane’s Auchendome is fast coming to a close. But we at the Beers affectionately prefer to refer to the comp as ‘B Grade’ - because the letter ‘A’ should never be used to describe our game.

It’s looking very much like there may be a MEGABOWL matchup in the finals with both teams almost certain to secure a place in the top 4.

Here’s the rundown of games left to play and Snoop’s predicted final placings.

1st - 7 Shades of Amber (11-0)
Remaining games: Cyclones (2nd 7-3), Bye, Saints Boys (7th 1-10)
Projection: 1st 13-0
Big game against the Cyclones tonight, but as proven in the Megabowl, this is a big game team. Then after the bye only the worst team in the comp stands in between them and a perfect season.

2nd - Cyclones (7-3)
Remaining games: 7 Shades of Amber (1st 11-0), Kickstars (6th 1-9), Bye
Projection: 3rd 9-4
Always a strong team, and they are going to need big results to hang onto second. A win against the undefeated 7 Shades of Amber would hand them second place, but look for the Beers club to help the other Beers club, Heavy Beers, with a heavy win. They will then need to run up the points against second last placed Kickstars and watch helplessly in the final week hoping that their points differential isn’t over-ran by the Heavy Beers.

3rd - Heavy Beers (6-4)
Remaining games: Footclan (4th 5-5), University (6th 5-5), Kickstars (6th 1-9)
Projection: 2nd 9-4
Spurned on from their heavy Megabowl defeat the Heavy Beers are closing the season strong. A big win against second place Cyclones should give them the confidence to win their last 3 games, then it just comes down to points differential for second place. With games in hand Heavy Beers have the best chance to take control of the points race to second.

4th - Footclan (Formerly Klowns) (5-5)
Remaining games: Heavy Beers (3rd 6-4), Saints Boys (7th 1-10), University (6th 5-5)
Projection: 4th 7-6
2 huge games remain for the team formerly known as Klowns. If the in-form Heavy Beers hold court tonight they just have the improving University in the final game of the regular season to win to stay in 4th.

5th - University (5-5)
Remaining games: Kickstars (6th 1-9), Heavy Beers (3rd 6-4), Footclan (4th 5-5)
Projection: 5th 6-7
An improving team this year, but look for experience to win through in games against the Heavy Beers and Footclan. Could sneak a finals spot with wins in either of those games depending on results, but it really is a long shot at this point.
