Another week has gone by and the Auchendome season is fast reaching it’s climax. With both Beers teams securing wins in their last game, it’s time to update our original finals predictions.

1st - 7 Shades of Amber (12-0)
Remaining games: Bye, Saints Boys (7th 1-10)
Projection: 1st 13-0
Took care of business against the second placed Cyclones and have a bye this week before a last round date with the worst team in the comp. Now the biggest question is can they blitz the finals and replicate the 7 Shades of Brown perfect season.

2nd - Cyclones (7-4)
Remaining games: Kickstars (6th 2-9), Bye
Projection: 2nd 8-4
Solidly beaten in their last start they need all hands on deck for their final game of the regular season tonight against the improving Kickstars who thumped University in their last outing. The late timeslot could hurt the Cyclones whose player numbers often fluctuate.

3rd - Heavy Beers (7-4)
Remaining games: University (6th 5-6), Kickstars (6th 2-9)
Projection: 3rd 8-4
Caught a great break last week when the Footclan played a man short, but despite some great scoring early failed to take full advantage. The win secured 3rd place, but now they need to big wins or an upset loss for the Cyclones tonight. Should handle University tonight, but need to run up a score to have a shot at a second place finish.

4th - Footclan (Formerly Klowns) (5-6)
Remaining games: Saints Boys (7th 1-10), University (6th 5-6)
Projection: 4th 7-6
Lost their shot at 3rd place when they played a man short against Heavy Beers but could have their finals place handed to them by that very team. A Heavy Beers win over University tonight along with their superior points differential secures them 4th place no matter what the result of their final game of the year against University.

5th - University (5-6)
Remaining games: Heavy Beers (3rd 7-4), Footclan (4th 5-6)
Projection: 5th 6-7
Took a hammering in last weeks winable game (their only game remaining against a lower ranked team), now need 2 massive wins from two games to sneak into 4th, or a surprise loss from the Footclan tonight. Surely too big an ask for this team.
