Bring out the gimp
Even a rare appearance by the Beers gimp could not help them win their season opening game against ‘Bosna’.
Cheech and Snoop hit some good shots. Herman & Dirty Cooper had some good hits, but the gimp stunk it up enough for everyone, leading the team to another heartbreaking loss.
After being tied 19-19 at half time, the Beers poured in another 22 points, but lost the foul count 8-1 in the 2nd half.
A mild mannered drug dealer by day, Cheech underwent a strange teen-wolf like transmorphification and turned into a crazed lunatic, so bold as to actually ask the little ref to explain a call.
He should have known that southern districts refs do not take kindly to polite questions. The tech foul he was given was fully justified and deserved. How dare he politely ask the ref a question!
It was downhill from there, the Beers lost and the Gimp has been locked away in his room under the stairs again until his next birthday party appearance or visit to Sidehole’s place.
GG Bosna. It’s always good to play against a team that argues more amongst themselves than we do.

For the many fans of the Beers, the reason the GIMP appeared was that the might PLOW failed to acknowledge that the reigning champion San Antonio Spurs beat New York, New Jersey and Detroit for their 3 championships.

If your memory was so crash hot you would’nt have lost the bet, gimp. Anyway i dont recall getting a carton last year? Mr Mammary, i believe the bet is that we pay up if the lakers or spurs win the ring, not just ranking. And one more thing i believe the loot was a carton of crownies. But you have such an incredible memory i am sure you could not possibly be wrong. It would take a mniracle for me to be right and you to be wrong. We have established that over the years . . .
